2.How Elytra Studios uses them
We keep this deliberately light. Elytra Studios does not run advertising networks on this site and does not build visitor profiles.
The only thing we store ourselves is your answer to the cookie banner. Everything else described below comes from embedded content you choose to interact with.
3.Categories we use
Strictly necessary — always on
Required for the site to work and for us to honour your preferences. These cannot be switched off, and under UK and EU rules they do not require consent.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| elytra-cookie-consent | Elytra Studios (local storage) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so the banner is not shown on every page | Until you clear it or the policy version changes |
Analytics — optional
Helps us understand which pages are useful and where the site is slow or confusing, in aggregate. These are set only if you accept them. We are not currently running an analytics provider on this site; if we add one, it will load only after consent and this table will be updated before it does.
Marketing and embedded media — optional
Set by third parties whose content is embedded in our pages. These are used by those companies for their own measurement and personalisation.
| Provider | Where it appears | Purpose | More information |
|---|---|---|---|
| YouTube (Google) | Project and portfolio videos | Plays embedded video and measures viewing for Google's own purposes | Google Privacy Policy |
| Clutch | Reviews widget on the contact page | Displays our verified client reviews | Clutch Privacy Policy |
| Scheduling provider | Only if you follow a "book a call" link to their site | Runs the booking flow on their own domain | Their own privacy policy applies |
We do not control third-party cookies and cannot read them. The links above explain what each provider does with the data it collects.
4.Your choices
When you first visit, a banner asks how you want to be treated. You can Accept All, Reject All, or use Customise to pick categories individually. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting, and nothing optional loads until you have chosen.
You can change your mind at any time — your previous choice is not permanent:
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so for strictly necessary items may mean the banner reappears on every visit, because the record of your choice is what gets cleared.
5.Browser and device controls
Every major browser lets you review and delete cookies and site data:
- Chrome — Settings › Privacy and security › Third-party cookies
- Safari — Settings › Privacy › Manage Website Data
- Firefox — Settings › Privacy & Security › Cookies and Site Data
- Edge — Settings › Cookies and site permissions
We also honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where your browser sends them.
6.Changes to this policy
If we add a new cookie or a new category, we will update this page and ask for your consent again before anything new is set. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
